Exceptional mobile catering
Miranda Laurich is the super proud owner of Little Red Milkshakery and is working hard to bring the best milkshakes and home-made treats to the parties, weddings, markets, A&P shows, festivals and events across the North Island.
To become more self-reliant, Miranda wanted to start a business. But it couldn’t be just any business: her business needed to make people smile. Miranda worked out that taking milkshakes to the people did just that. Mobile catering from her little red drinks and food caravan can add value to a person’s day. Find out how much. Little Red Milkshakery team
Her caravan was great, but it needed a special crew to make it fabulous. With Kulani and Cumorah, the 1969 Trail-Lite came alive! Together, the team became the ultimate combination of hard work, super service and sparkle.
And they have travelled widely together.
They’ve been to the Waikato Show, Art Deco Festival in Napier, Bay of Islands A&P Show at Waimate North, Auckland’s Poly Fest, Grey Lynn Festival, Tauranga Arts Festival, Christmas at Karaka, Whakatane Hospice Fundraiser, Taupo Summer Concert, Warkworth A&P Show, Nerd Fest in Hamilton…… you get the idea.
Bring them in for treats, desserts or the whole party. They can go almost anywhere and they use ethically produced ingredients and always support other local businesses.
Working with New Zealanders
They aim to delight – and they do that through exceptional service, as well as exceptional milkshakes, cakes and drinks. Customer contact is something they get excited about each time they set up the little red drinks and food caravan. They love talking and listening to the people they meet on their travels.
Working from a food truck allows Miranda and her team to get real-time feedback, which is part of the service they all really enjoy.
They have even used some suggestions to make their milkshakes even better, incredible as it may sound.
They also try to cater for any special requests guests may have. That’s because they know what matters – and that is people!
he tangata, he tangata.
